Well, Lisa and I had a nice relaxing weekend. We saw the movie The Full Nine Yards, and we both thought it was very funny. Matthew Perry is as good as ever. We had dinner at Gordon Bersch in the Pacific Place and they had a fire in the kitchen so we got a free meal. The price was just right.

I got my passport today. I hope they finally let me into Bellevue now. If I only had a dime everytime someone stopped me on the border of Bellevue asking for my passport. I think I might get my digital camera tomorrow. I checked on the UPS website and entered my tracking number and the package was stamped as arrived in Seattle today at 12:08 pm. Pretty soon, I can take pictures of things large and small. I wonder if people will think I'm strange if I walk down the streets of Seattle telling people to "strike a pose" ? If the weather is nice tomorrow, I'm going to hike up Tiger mountain after work. My plans for the Ireland trip are starting to come together. I still don't understand why Lisa has a round-trip ticket and mine only says one-way, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Got my new digital camera today. Ryan was helping me learn how to work it. We tested the 8 second delay on it and it works great too. So, when I got home I pulled out a photo from Lisa's and my wedding to see how it would work taking a digital photo of an existing photo. You be the judge. This was taken before the ceremony by one of our parents. If you think it's worth it, I may post some more wedding photos. But, I need your feedback. Actually I really don't care what you think and I'll do what I want anyway.
I have a special update. I promised to keep you informed of when my friend was going to start the bachelor's recipe page. Well, he followed through and you can get to it with my "Favorites" Section and clicking RyanPenner or just clicking here.

Well, I have been really bad about keeping my Life and Times updated. Lisa has been up and I've been spending my evenings with her. We went and saw High Fidelity with John Cusack. It was pretty good but I'd recommend it as a rental. We also biked for about 4 hours on the Snoqualmie Valley trail which I would highly recommend to any beginner mountain biker or someone just getting back into shape for summer. It is an old railroad trial ( with no railroad ties ) that goes over a lot of bridges and through very scenic areas. Make sure to take your camera. If time permits, you should also spend a little while checking out the falls since you'll be so close. Have a great time !

I sent my tax forms in today. I'm so glad that's over with. I had lunch today 20 blocks away from my building. It was such a nice day for a walk that Lance, Ryan and I decided to enjoy the weather. We ate near the old Kingdome and looked at all the rubble still there. Kind of sad to see it in its current state. Last night I finished Den of Thieves, which could quite possibly be the greatest book ever written.

I spent a little bit of time working on my Photo Gallery page because I have the feeling I'm going to be posting tons of useless pictures. You'll just have to buck up and bare with me. Now that I totally have my website the way I like it, I think I'm going to revamp the entire site and start using Cascading Style Sheets (css) because everyone and their best friend are doing it. Plus, as I've said before, , this website is for my practice and the fact that you're here is purely coincidence.

I'm glad to see people are actually looking at the photos I have posted. The nice weather has left us for rain today. It's not as fun riding the bus home in the rain. There's nothing worse than some guy who sits next to you that has been waiting for the bus in the rain for a while. Even though they're only covered with water, it's like they have toxic waste on them. You just can't bare to touch them out of fear that you too might get water on your sleave. It's a crazy world we live in. Or maybe I'm crazy in a sane world. Or maybe I'm crazy in a crazy world. Or maybe the guy sitting next to me is crazy and he's wet and he wants to talk to me. Or maybe the bus driver is crazy ... I think that goes without saying. Riding the bus is like a carnival ride. You know you'll get off okay, but the fear of God get's placed on you nonetheless. Have a good day.

It looks like I'm not going to be able to update my site very often with my wife actually living with me. It's hard to pull myself away. I went to Benihana's today for lunch. The presentation was nice, but overall I was a little disappointed.

Had a very busy weekend. My company, ImproveMyBusiness.com had many of its employees, including myself, help out at the Tefft Cellars in Yakima valley. We helped out the employees of the winery for the tasting that went on. After the tasting we all had dinner at Joel Tefft's house and had a lot of wine too. It was a lot of fun. I came home with two cases of wine. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.
