The curfew at 7:00 PM was put in place for the second day in a row. The only good thing about that is I was able to workout two nights this week. I had cashew chicken for lunch today at Thai To Go. I can't get over how many good restaurants there are in downtown Seattle. Every time I go somewhere, I wonder why I don't go there more.

Day 5 of not drinking any caffeine of any sort. Yes, that is correct, no coffee and no caffeinated pop. Is everybody getting into the holiday spirit ? Remember, it's only 80 more shopping days till my birthday. I added a couple of more photos to the newlyborns page.

Day 6 of not drinking any caffeine of any sort. I pulled out my board, sharpened the edges, waxed the bottom, laid out all my gear, and I am ready to go.

Day 7 of not drinking any caffeine of any sort. Went snowboarding today at Stevens Pass. The conditions were close to perfect with the snow being dry and powdery. My bindings and boots are one year old, but my board is about 5 or 6 years old and I desperately need a new one. Did you hear that Santa ??

Day 8 and I had a latte. Dog-gone it !!! I was on a role. I was at work for a little over 5 hours today. I think I found a meal that is better than hamburger helper. It's Marie Calendar's Beef Stroganoff served on steamed rice. mmmmm mmmmm good. Jack and Jill, my new favorite show on the WB, was a pretty good tonight. I am still a little on edge that they didn't play it last week. They had some stupid two hour Felicity show that ran into the Jack and Jill time slot. There's no justice !

Barely made it to the bus on time. I had to run from my car at the park-n-ride to the bus. It sucked cause I had to sit in that middle part of the two-section bus that bends as the bus turns. So anyway, I finished off the left overs of the Beef Stroganoff from last night and I'm quite happy with the whole left over package. I watched a little of Conan the Destroyer ( I have it on tape ) as I ate. Well, gotta go, I can't be talking to you all the time.

Still drinking coffee. I ate alder smoked salmon for lunch today down by the water in Seattle. I was very happy to be eating cause I was hungry. I'm not sure why because I had my normal smoothie for breakfast, but by 12:00 noon I was entering into a desparate need for food. Every night as I'm coming across the bridge after work, I look at all the lights on Bill Gates's house. I think he may have hired Clark Griswald to decorate the house, because there are just short of four gazillion lights on his house.

Friday night and I worked until 10:30 pm. Well, okay, I took a break for a little over an hour and had a couple of brewsky's with my friend Monster, but I was thinking about work the whole time ... really. Lisa will be in town tomorrow and I can't wait to see her !!!! We have a party to go tomorrow night and I plan on having her drive me home. Have a great weekend ! I am going to go whip up some popcorn and watch a violent movie until about 1:00 am. Later.
December 11-14, 1999
Spent the weekend with my wife so I didn't have much time to update my page. Lisa and I had lunch with my sister and her husband John on Sunday afternoon at Maximilien at the Market. It was excellent food and atmosphere; I will definitely go back sometime. I have been learning a great deal of JavaServerPages and JavaScript lately. I'm more of a back-end programmer, but have lately started doing front-end programming. It's kind of nice for a change.
December 15-20, 1999
I just got back from spending a few days with my in-laws in Spokane. My two brother in-law's ( Joe and Lance ) and I went snowboarding up at 49 degrees north, which is about 50 minutes north of Spokane. Saturday, I played virtual golf which is pretty cool. Joe is a very good golfer and he gave me some really good tips so I picked up the basics pretty quickly. I saw the movie Entrapment with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones ( rrrrrgggg ). It was a much better movie than I thought it was going to be. Check out my newlyborns page because I made some big changes.

My little newphew, Jacob, is four years old. For christmas I bought him the Matchbox Police Command Center with helicopters, jeeps, and lots of other cool stuff. When he opened it, he was speechless. Today at the grocery store I saw Deschutes beer for $4.98 per six pack. I need another refridgerator. I bought "A Christmas Story", which could be second after "It's a wonderful Life" for the all time best christmas movie. Although, "Christmas Vacation" is up there too. My former boss when I was at Foster Wheeler, Melissa, emailed me the other day. I was flattered that she took the time to email me. She's a hot shot manager at some company in Pennsylvania now. I just got done watching "Replacement Killers" with Chow Yun Phat. I think that might just be the greatest movie of all time.
December 22-27, 1999
I had a bad case of the flu for a while so I didn't bother to update my page. But I'm all better now and can continue to excite your life with the thrilling words I type here on my web page. For christmas Santa gave me a nice back massager. The kind that you sit against and it has 10 different motors that go at 3 different strength levels. It also has heat too. Lisa made me dinner tonight. Well, I have to go spend time with my wife. I'll talk to you kids later.

Lisa and I decided to have dinner over at the Kirkland Roaster and Ale House. That place makes the best turkey dinners. If you ever have the desire to watch a horrible movie, I would suggest "The Snapper". Lisa and I just watched it and I was close to slitting my wrists. I'm still getting over my flu. I hear there are people all over the nation getting sick. I might think twice next year about getting a flu shot.

Had dinner with Lisa at the Claim Jumper in Redmond Town Center. I had the salmon and loved it, but Lisa didn't like hers very much. We watched the movie "Jude" that has Kate Winslet, the chick from Titanic. It was alright, but I started getting pretty bored near the end of the movie. I am going to lunch at the Pike Brewery tomorrow and I'm pretty excited about that.
December 30, 1999
I had lunch today at the Pike Brewery with some people I work with and also people I use to work with. We had a 3 hour lunch and the bill came to 144 dollars. That night I went home and Lisa had rented "Black Mask" the Jet Lee movie. It was alright but I thought it was going to be better.
December 31, 1999
Lisa and I cleaned the apartment today. Looking back on it all now, I think it would have been easier to bring in a fire hose and power wash the place. It looks good now though. We had teryaki madness for lunch.
