I was working until 1:00am in the morning and didn't get home until 2:00am. Since a coworker worked, literally (no lie), the whole day, the entire night, and the full workday of the 2nd, I drove her car home tonight and drove it back the morning of the 2nd. Needless to say, things have been crazy at work. And that's all I have to say about that.

Today was pretty much just as stressful as yesterday. I worked a pretty long day and am very tired. At least most things are working properly at work and we finished the day off by opening a bottle of wine. In the mail today, I recieved a refund check for 2 dollars from my auto insurance since I walk to the park-n-ride now. I can't decide what I want to do with the money. I'm thinking about opening an IRA with it. Momma always said it's a wise man who saves.

Went to karate for the first time in about 4 months. I forgot a few things but was amazed at all the stuff I didn't forget. I think that I'll be walking like Frankenstein tomorrow though. I gotta go. My eggs are done. Got myself an egg salad sandwich dinner in the makings. And you thought I couldn't cook.

Everyone at work went to House of Hong for dim sum. mmmmm it was so good ! After work, I went to O'Hanas - an asian restaurant and bar. We had a good time, but I didn't stay too long because Lisa came into town and I wanted to spend time with my wife.

This morning I went to karate. I love the saturday classes. After that, Lisa and I went down to Pike Place and bought two live Maine lobsters. We cooked them up and watched 13th Warrior and Pushing Tin. You just can't ask for a better evening.

This sunday, Lisa and I went to our traditional Anthony's Homeport Sunday Brunch. It was really good. It was quiet here when she left. I get to see her again over Valentine's Day.

I finally figured out the problem at work I had all day friday in the first 15 minutes this morning. This problem was really bothering me all weekend. After work, I went to karate again. This is pretty hard to get back into this, but I'll give it my best shot.

You've noticed that I haven't updated my site in a while, well screw you, I've been busy. Let me give you a run down of the highlights since my last update. I went down to Eugene over Valentine's day weekend and spent some quality time with my wife. We saw the movie Cider House Rules which actually turned out to be pretty good. I give the movie a B+. While we were gone, we taped Milan on tv and watched it the next day. Honestly, I expected a little more from that movie, but I'm not complaining. My sister interviewed with the elected state auditor this morning and was offered a position directly underneath him. There are 6 people that hold that position and if she accepts the position, she'll be one of them. I was so excited to hear the news. It means that she makes way more money than I do and I better get on the ball and pass her up. It's all about family competition these days, you know. Today is my birthday. What's that ? You want to know my age ? Well, I'm twenty-four now ... give or take seven years. I finally saw Star Trek insurrection. Not too bad. I might have to view it again before I return it. I plan on going snowboarding tomorrow for half a day - but let's see if it actually happens. There have been so many times where I actually plan on going and check the ski report and it's raining on the mountain.

Climbed Tiger mountain today. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was a little muddy near the bottom, but my boots are still pretty clean. The top was really cloudy, but wasn't that cold. I think I'm going to start making a weekend trip from now on.

I worked late both nights and haven't worked out since monday when I climbed up Tiger mountain.

We had another famous going-away lunch for more of my former coworkers. Two people from my last job are moving on to other places. We had it at the Pike Brewhouse. After work, many of us met at the Brooklyn and continued the festivities.

It sucks hiking up Tiger mountain when you're hung over ! After the hike, we had lunch at Issaquah Brewhouse. It was the first time I had been there without ordering a beer. But it was fun anyway. Tonight I went to Lauren's 30th Birthday party. She is Drake's wife, a guy I use to work with. We had so much fun and I can't remember the last time I've laughed that hard.

Where besides the Pacific Northwest can you go hiking one day and go snowboarding the next; both with less than an hour drive away. I'm telling you, this place rocks ! Although the snow was a little wet and it did rain at times, but I still had a great time. I went with my good buddy, Monty. He just bought new skis. He likes them, but he came out of the bindings twice.
