Yesterday I lent my digital camera to a good friend who's going to Hawaii for a few days to take some quality shots of her vacation. I'll have those posted when she gets back. Today is the second day I've been without my wife. It seems kind of weird to come home with nobody home. The only good thing about the situation is that this website gets updated more often.

After work, there was a special training course for Brown and Black belts followed by a BBQ. It was a tough class, but it was nice to work out.

Had Dragon boat practice today out on Lake Washington. Most of our team is pretty green, some are new this year, but it is still a blast. Tonight I had dinner with Lisa, her parents, her sister, and some of their friends at Palomino downtown. I really like that restaurant even though it's probably a little spendy for what you get. But the food is still really good.

Just saw Mission Impossible 2 and with all the sincerity I can muster .... That movie rules! One of the fight scenes dragged on a little too long and a couple of other scenes screamed nothing but cheeze, but all in all, I'm sold. You just can't go wrong with John Woo.

Just saw Shanghai Noon with Jackie Chan. He use to put out some of my favorite movies but I think he's getting too Americanized now. I had Dragon Boat rowing pactice again this afternoon. It was weird weather out there on the Lake. It would rain and then be really sunny and then rain again. It was freakin' me out.

Added some really great shots of Jewellea to the babyphotos page. You can see them under the Picture Gallery. Because it was raining so hard this morning, I had a chance to wear my new Eddie Bauer rain coat. I bought it for hiking in the rain, but what do you know, it works well going to work in the rain too. What a bargain !

Just got back from a very nice long vacation over at Lake Badger near Cheney, WA. I stayed with a bunch of friends at a cabin on the water. It was a great vacation. We did some waterskiing, innertubing, rope swinging into the lake, cliff jumping, kayaking, tie dying tshirts, hot-tubing, and eating lots of great food and drinking lots of adult beverages. We had a blast. I'll have photos up in the picture gallary page soon.

Lisa and I spent quite the pretty penny at Costco today. It's hard to pass up the bargains there. We got this big bag of kitty litter and saved so much money. Now we're discussing whether or not we should get a cat.

Had the dragon boat races this weekend. Our team didn't do very good. It was kind of dissappointing. Oh well, maybe next year. I'm a little excited for dinner tonight. I'm marinating halibut in white wine, olive oil, lemon, garlic, and spices. We'll probably eat dinner in front of the television watching Sixth Sense. Great movie !

Can you believe it ? I'm actually updating my site today. Last month was a pretty busy month so I didn't take the time to keep you posted. I hope you aren't dissapointed with me, . John Peters and I spent a few days in Atlanta for a training course. Here is what we learned.

This is amazing. I'm updating my website two days in a row. Lisa and I spent about 5 hours hiking on trails in Cougar Mountian. I had no idea that the whole area use to be a coal mining area and that there is plenty of cool scenic stuff to see. Luckily, I brought my camera. Check out some of the photos in my picture galleray page. After hiking, we had dinner at Burger Master in Kirkland. Love those hamburgers.
